Cancellation & Refund Policy

Giriram Foods sells edible oils, ghee, coffee, and related grocery goods. This policy covers cancellation, returns, replacement, and refunds for goods bought from us.

Order cancellation

Before dispatch or handover. You may cancel by emailing hello@giriramfoods.in before the goods leave the store or are handed to you. If we have not dispatched them, we cancel the order and refund what you paid.

After dispatch. A shipped order cannot be cancelled. A return may still be possible under the conditions below. Goods already taken from the store counter follow the same return rules.

Return and replacement

We accept a return only when:

• You received a damaged, defective, leaking, or incorrect product.
• A consumable item is past its expiry date when you receive it.

Conditions:

• The product is unused, unopened, and in its original pack, except where the defect is that the pack arrived open or leaking.
• You ask within 3 days of delivery, or within 3 days of purchase if you bought it in the store.
• You send clear photos of the damage, the label, and the pack so we can check the claim.

We do not take back:

• Food or oil that has been opened, except when it arrived damaged or incorrect.
• Goods damaged after you received them in good condition.
• Items without the original packaging, where the pack is needed to check the batch.

Refunds

• After we inspect and approve the return, the refund goes back the way you paid.
• Refunds take 5–7 business days after approval. Your bank may take longer to show the credit.
• If you paid cash at the store, the refund is in cash at the store or by bank transfer to an account you give us in writing.
• Delivery charges are refunded only when the return is our error.

Exchange

• If an eligible product is damaged or wrong, we send or hand over a replacement of the same item when it is in stock.
• A replacement goes out only after we have checked the photos or the returned pack.

Write to hello@giriramfoods.in with your name, what you bought, and the date.
